I want to create a 19 "monitor to slave to my HTPC for use on my sofa and armchair. I wonder what is the maximum recommended cable monitor is ... before the signal begins to reduce happen?

About 25-30 feet if it is a good quality cable. .
After about 100 meters would be remarkable, then after 500 meters, would be completely rubbish. I have no idea, I've always had a laptop, but it uses the so-called "Google" (WOW)
